Founded by Mrs Debbie Leadbeater, a pioneering female solicitor, our firm was one of the few woman-owned and managed law firms in Stoke On Trent at that time. The history of Leadbeater & Kay began In March 1992 as Leadbeaters, founded and owned by Miss Debbie Leadbeater. At this time, there were very few law firms owned and managed by a woman nationally not just in Stoke On Trent. Miss Leadbeater led the way and has nurtured and grown the foundations of the business to our successes to date.

In July 1997, the partnership of Leadbeater & Kay was formed as Mr Paul Kay joined, bringing with him years of experience.

In 2014 Leadbeater & Kay collaborated with Tuckers Solicitors for all matters Criminal Defence and in 2016 Leadbeater & Kay became a Limited Company.

We are a local firm based in the heart of Stoke On Trent, proud of our roots and our working with individual and business clients from across Staffordshire and nationwide.
